About
Lisa Levitt is a writer and archivist, granddaughter of immigrants who painted their way through upheaval. She gathers their scattered artworks and documents, weaving them into narratives that honor loss, survival, and the quiet power of handmade beauty.

Stories
Lisa’s work reaches beyond the personal archive into the wider conversation about memory, migration, and identity.
She contributed a chapter to Hungarian Roots & American Dreams: Tracing Personal and Local History, an anthology exploring the journeys of Hungarian immigrants to America.
She will also be featured in an exhibit on 250 stories of immigration this year, and much more!
